Roof and Power Line Clearance in Los Angeles

Limbs pulled back off the roof, the service line and the drive — in Los Angeles and all around it.

Clearance work is the most common call we get, and it is almost always the same three things: a limb lying on the roof, a branch growing into the service line, and something hanging low enough over the drive that you duck getting out of the car.

The roof one matters more than people think. A limb resting on shingles works in the wind and sands them down, and it gives rats and roof damage a bridge straight onto the house.

What's included

Clearance is still pruning, so it gets cut properly rather than just shortened to the property line. Hacking a limb back to a stub because it was in the way leaves a wound that dies back and lets decay in, and in two years you have a bigger problem than the branch.

Where a limb is close to a service line, there is a limit to what anyone can legally and safely do without the utility involved. We will tell you where that line is instead of guessing at it.

How we work

Show us the problem

A photo from the ground usually tells us enough to price it without a trip out.

Check what is behind it

A limb over a roof is one job; a limb near a wire is another. That difference sets the plan.

Cut it properly

Back to a growth point, so the tree closes the wound instead of dying back into it.

Clean the gutters of it

What came down comes with us, including what landed in the gutter on the way.

Roof, Wire & Driveway Clearance by city

Raeford, Fayetteville and the towns around them are not one market — a Fort Bragg rental turning over, a brick ranch off Bragg Boulevard and a new build in Hope Mills are three different jobs.

Common questions

A branch is touching my power line. What do I do?
Call us and we will look, but be aware there is a limit to what can be done safely near a live service line. If it needs the utility, we will tell you that plainly instead of taking a risk over your house.
My neighbour's tree is over my roof. Can you cut it?
Usually what overhangs your property can be trimmed to the line, but it is worth talking to your neighbour first and we would rather you did. We will explain what is reasonable to cut and what would harm the tree.
Do you clean the gutters too?
We clear what our work put in them. A full gutter clean is a different job — tell us and we will say honestly whether it is something we are doing that day.
