Tree Removal in Los Angeles, CA

Taken down in sections and rigged, not dropped — in Los Angeles and all around it.

On a Los Angeles lot there is almost never room to fell a tree. There is a fence one side, a house the other, a service line overhead and a car in the drive. So it comes down in sections: climbed, tied off, cut, and lowered on ropes to a spot we picked before anything was cut.

It is slower than dropping it. It is also the reason nothing lands where it should not.

What's included

We look at what is above and around the tree first. A service line changes the whole plan, and so does a neighbour's roof or a block wall you cannot put weight on. That walk is where the price comes from, which is why we do it before quoting rather than after.

The stump is a separate question. Tell us whether you want it ground out or left, because it changes the job and the number, and finding out afterwards helps nobody.

How we work

Walk the surround

What is above and beside the tree decides the method and the price. We look before quoting.

Set the rigging

Lines go in before a saw starts, and the landing spot is chosen and cleared.

Section it down

Piece by piece from the top, lowered rather than dropped.

Clear the site

Chipper for the brush, truck for the wood, rake for the rest.

Tree Removal by city

Raeford, Fayetteville and the towns around them are not one market — a Fort Bragg rental turning over, a brick ranch off Bragg Boulevard and a new build in Hope Mills are three different jobs.

Common questions

There are power lines over my tree. Can you still do it?
It depends how close, and we will be straight with you. Some work has to wait for the utility to drop or cover the line, and we will tell you that rather than take a chance over your house.
Do you take the stump out?
Tell us at the estimate and we will price it in. Left as-is it is cheaper, ground out it is a clean finish — either is fine, we just want it agreed before we start rather than discovered after.
What happens to the wood?
It goes with us unless you want it. Some people keep the rounds for firewood — say so and we will cut it to length and stack it instead of loading it.
